Solving today's integration challenges with Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Coherence
With the rise of Cloud applications, Enterprise Mobile applications, and the Internet of things
the need to integrate systems has never been more important. In this presentation we will provide
a high level overview of Oracle SOA Suite, and explore where Oracle Coherence can help solve some
real integration challenges regarding scale, latency, and protection of backend applications
/ databases within the integration architecture.
Comparing and Contrasting Oracles In-Memory Technologies
With a range of in-memory technologies to accelerate applications which one should you pick?
This talk describes the range of in-memory technologies Oracle provides, discusses their
architectures and looks at what types of problems the are best at addressing
Java 8: Wherefore art thou Lambda
The up-coming release of Coherence completely embraces new features in Java 8. like Lambdas.
In this talk Harvey will take a deep dive into Lambdas, the implementation in the JDK and
how they can be used in the next release of Coherence.
An introduction to the Coherence Cloud Service
This sessoin will give an in-depth view of the new Coherence Cloud Service,
discussing how Coherence applications can be deployed, how it works with the
Developer Cloud Service and what you need to do to get started.
Dockerizing Coherence, HotCache and the Oracle Database
This talk is based on Jonathan's experiences of trying to replace heavy-weight
virtual machine based testing of HotCache with lighter weight Docker
containers. It will cover building Docker images for the various
components and running these images as Docker containers to form a
working Coherence cluster with HotCache providing database synchronisation.
